Oh yea, participation is absolutely possible for those who have full sight. In fact, the interaction with visually disabled is what makes this hiking group even more appealing than any other hiking group I've ever been in. They now have their own website: http://clubayuwn.cl so definitely check that out. I know they just had their grand first anniversary asado yesterday so join the group, Like them on Facebook and stay in touch. They hike the first Sunday of every month.

We're new to Santiago (2 weeks so far) and will be here through next June. Do you know of any local hiking club for amateurs (weekenders)? Additionally, is there a way we could get involved in this group with our seeing eyes?

I did get paid, although it's a small fee (~£12) since it's for their Widget. It's not like it was payment for any image or set of images to a third-party. As I understand it, they pay from their own pockets for self-promotional purposes. Ain't bad for photos I wouldn't have been paid for elsewhere. :)

I'll post as soon as I see a positive balance in my Paypal account. According to the email, payment takes about 4 weeks... so we'll see. It'll be interesting to see how much and how fast, eh?

And now we're all on tenterhooks to see what will happen on the 17th. Frei's people were out campaigning in my neighborhood (Barrio Brasil, in Santiago) the other night, but the Piñera flag-wavers have been out in full force.

Me alegro mucho poder ver tu trabajo, avances y nuevas experiencias a través de tu sitio web. Se extrañapoder conversar y compartir contigo amigo mio. Actualmente hacen unos días bellisimos por estos lados, salvo hoy, en que irónicamente es 18 de Septiembre. Hay harto tema para fotografiar, entre fondas, el desierto florido en la IV región y todo lo que ocurre al rededor del comienzo de la primavera. Lamentablemente 0 tiempo... he estado ocupadisimo y agotadisimo estudiando para mi examen de medicina interna, que debo rendir el próximo jueves o viernes de la semana que viene... no me quedan muchas posibilidades si no mas que estudiar, como dice un queridisimo doctor, docente y amigo mio uruguayo... "Edu, ajo y agua che... ajo-derse y agua-ntarse" jeje creo que por ahora es un consejo sensato.
Bueno che, te dejo un abrazo apretado, mucho éxito y desde ya extiendo mis ganas por seguir viendo tu trabajo.
Te cuidas y muchos saludos a Gloria y a otros "expatriados", como les llamas tú, por tierras mejicanas.

ok je pues si, lo que pasa es que presente mi examen profesional el 29 de agosto, y uno de los temas a tratar era el de la multimedia, sus aplicaciones, el futuro de esta , etc y buscando informacion para documentarme di con tu sitio, y bueno pues aprobé...estudie ciencias de la comunicacion en la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas...
